Privacy is important to us and it’s probably important to you, too. 

We’re in favor of regulations increase transparency about how companies use Personal Information. Rest reassured that we don’t participate in “data mining” to nefariously collect Personal Information and that we strive to do business from a place of integrity. 

This rather dry and boring (apologies!) document—Work You Love Coach’s Privacy Policy—describes how your personal and other information is collected, used, and shared when you visit https://leaderforgood.com (the “Site”).

TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED ON THIS SITE 

We collect two types of data and information from Users. 

The first type of information is un-identified and non-identifiable information pertaining to you, which may be made available or gathered via your use of the Site (“Non-personal Information”). We are not aware of the identity of the person from which the Non-personal Information was collected. Collected non-personal Information may include your aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device, including certain software and hardware information (e.g. the type of browser and operating system your device uses,) in order to enhance the functionality of our Site. We may also collect information on your activity on the Site (e.g. pages viewed, clicks, actions, etc.).The second type of information is information which is individually identifiable information, namely information that identifies an individual or may with reasonable effort identify an individual (“Personal Information“). 

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED ON THIS SITEPersonal Information collected on this site includes:– Registration InformationIn general, you can visit this Site without telling us your name or giving us your email address. If you want to contact us or sign up for our email list, we need to collect Personal Information from you for specific purposes, such as responding to you or providing you with the information you request. We receive and may store any Personal Information you voluntarily enter on this Site.You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link that you can find in each of our emails. The data we collect from you may include the following Personal Information (along with any other information you provide): First and last name, email address, address, telephone number, country/time zone. When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain Personal Information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. 

– Device Information

Like many Sites, this Site automatically collects certain information about your device when you visit it. We call these “Device Information.”

Such information might include geolocation data, IP address, unique identifiers (e.g. MAC address and UUID) and other information which relates to your activity through the Site.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Registration Information that we collect generally to:

  • Communicate with you; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information relating to our services.

We use the Device Information to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We never sell your information to anyone!We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. We currently use the email marketing service ConvertKit to provide you with information relating to our services. You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link that you can find in each of our emails. 

We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users access the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, etc. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our Site and services. Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit sites, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, if you are a “data subject in the [European] Union,” your rights include: 

  • The right to be informed
  • The right of access
  • The right to rectification
  • The right to erasure
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to object
  • Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling

At this point, it is not completely clear how to understand the phrase “data subject in the Union.” However, we think everyone, regardless of where you are in the world, should have these rights. Please be aware that these rights might not absolute, and may be subject to our own legitimate interests and regulatory requirements. 

Additionally, if you are a “data subject in the Union,” we note that we are processing your information based on your consent (when you opt-in to our email list), in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Please also note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Retention periods will be determined taking into account the type of information that is collected and the purpose for which it is collected. We will also bear in mind the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy outdated, unused information at the earliest reasonable time. 

Under applicable regulations, we will keep records containing client personal data, account opening documents, communications and anything else as required by applicable laws and regulations.MINORS

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site is not designed for or directed at individuals under the age of 18. Under no circumstances shall we allow use of our services by minors without prior consent or authorization by a parent or legal guardian. Our Site contains links to other Site. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that Site. These external sites are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these Sites. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party Sites.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.Material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy.
